Our History
From the small valley of Kashmir in 1981
1981
Hassan Sons is established as a Trading house, dealing in traditional Kashmiri Handicrafts. The head office was registered in the Khanyar area of Downtown Srinagar by our founder Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Aslam
1989
Hassan Sons starts a new venture, H.S. Oil comes into origin with its manufacturing facility in the Khanmoh area of Kashmir (It was later shut down in 1990 because of the turmoil in the valley)
1991
Hassan Sons opens two more branches in Jaipur and Varanasi
1995
Hassan Sons opens its first international office in Hamburg, Germany (Europe)
2000
The parent company Hassan Sons is transformed into Hassan Sons Group. The subsidiary companies continue to operate as independent units under the umbrella of H.S. Group
2006
HSRI acquires 1 acre of land in the commercial center of Lal Chowk in Downtown Srinagar

Sheikh Mohammad Aslam
Founder/Chairman
Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Aslam is the Founder and Chairman of the Hassan Sons Group. He has been the torch bearer of the company, since its very origin over four-decades ago. It has been his visionary leadership that has inspired the organization to diversify and grow in new business segments. He has the skillful ability to balance vision with execution and has been the driving force behind our success so far
Nazrat-Ul-Arwah
President
Mrs. Nazrat Sheikh has been associated with the company, ever since its inception. However, she officially joined the organization in 1991 and has been playing a crucial role in the company's day-to-day operations ever since. She has earned herself a Master's degree in Indian History and is currently leading the company's expansion in the education space
Zubair Aslam Sheikh
Managing Director
Mr. Zubair Sheikh joined the business operations of the company in 2004. He has earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the prestigious Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington D.C. and before joining the organization had started off his career as a financial analyst at Merrill Lynch. He currently oversees the operations across business verticals
Faizan Aslam Sheikh
Operations Manager
Mr. Faizan Sheikh has earned a dual Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning/Risk Management and Entrepreneurship from the acclaimed Purdue University in Indiana. He had started off with the organization in 2017 in the materials procurement division but ever since has been elevated and is currently responsible for operations at Forest Greens
